Anyone else getting really bad delays (upto 1 second) in sound if your xbox is connected to your digital surround sound system? They're connected via fibre optic cable.

I've never had this problem playing any other games, just today when playing MW2.

    Ta.

I haven't had any sound delays that I noticed, but there is definitely something off with the surround sound in this game.

The problem I am having is, when a Soldier is right infront of you barking orders, I can barely hear him through the front 3 speakers. But If I turn around so he is behind the main character, I can hear him fine through the back 2 speakers.

It was really bugging me playing it last night, I have an Onkyo surround sound, and the xbox is connected to it via fibre optic and I tried different settings, but had no joy with it.

Never had an issue with surround sound in any other game.

Cheers guys. I didn't bother tweaking any settings on either xbox or surround sound system. I'm sure they will release some sort of patch for the sound lag over coming days / weeks.
