Hey! Just wondering if any of you have seen the tights Lily allen is wearing in this pic on the high street? Or ones similar!!
I'm not looking for thigh high stockings cause I'd need to wear them to college and I'd freeze. Also these tights give the same effect without squeezing my thighs haha

If you've seen them let me know where
    and how much!?!?
    Cheers guys! :)

I read this thread out of curiousity, I'd never heard of thigh high tights before!
But they look really cool :)
I hope someone knows where to find them, I wanna check them out too!

As usual, my reply comes in the form of River Island! :pac:

The Ilac Centre store (possible Grafton too) stock a range of tights (can't remember the name of the company who actually makes them) and yeah, it includes those one's! Think they're around 12 euro.

    I think I love you.

D'ya know if Blanch stock them? Or do RI do interstore transfers on such small items?

HI Arnotts stock House of Holland in the hosiery department on the ground floor. However, the black have already sold out. Other colours still in stock.

Pretty Polly also do a range of mock hold ups (as opposed to stockings.) that are actually tights.

    Just ask their sales assistants.

    Also try Arnotts project.

LOL I didn't see that she mentioned wearing them to college...you'd look ridiculous wearing them for anything other than a night out somewhere trendy!

To college?! Fecksake, twould be like a fashion show. Not cool. Stick with wearing them on nights out!

I totally disagree. They'd be perfectably acceptable for day wear with a loose short dress, long cardigan and perhaps ankle boots/pumps or something.

i class them as daring??maybe im wrong but i got loads of looks in over the knee socks at night

I don't think it really matters what anyone here thinks looks ridiculous or not anyway, if she wants to wear 'em to college and she feels happy wearing 'em then more power to her :D

Loose semi casual dress and either pumps or ankle boots and these would look gorgeous. There's no need to save them just for nights out. Although most of my wardrobe I either dress down for college or dress up for nights out, I don't have specific night out clothes or else half my wardrobe wouldn't get worn. Each to their own though I suppose.
