    hiya folks,

    so im looking for somewhere to host a party in dublin (city centre)...
    im really looking for somewhere with cheap drinks thats free to rent or reasonably cheap
    if its cool/unusual all the better
    maybe somewhere with a function room style setup...with a beer garden

    any and all suggestions more than welcome...

    The Porterhouse on Nassau St has an area that you can rent out for free and accommodates upward of 20 people. Not sure of the upper limit or if there is one. You can check out their website for all the details. We held a club 'do' there a while back and it went down well with everyone.

    Drinks prices are reasonable enough and there is usually a special beer on offer each night. Shorts and cocktails also available. They don't do all the usual beers as they brew their own, so don't expect Guinness, Heino, etc. etc. Oh, if you want a few nibbles, food is served till around 9pm and there's a party platter available.
