Civil service strike on 24th nov

    Please please dont turn this into a PS V private sector debate.


    I just want to warn people getting married on this date in a registery office that there is a strike planned complete with pickets. If so please contact your registery office if this is the case.

    Yes,
    This is correct, as of now the 24th November is a day of strike action for Impact Trade Union Members, so all members will be on the picket lines on that day, and the civil registration staff are members so will not be passing the picket lines on the day. Its a very horrible situation
    for those who are booked in for their weddings on the day.

    No comments on the rights or wrongs of the strike please. From here on I'll be handing out infractions for comments on this subject that don't directly relate to the impact the action will have on weddings.
