    Hi

Does anyone know if you need a permit or something to sell on the road, for example strawberry sellers during the summer months???
    Cheers!!

Yes. Farmers are allowed to sell at the side of the road but must be within a certain distance (approx 10 Miles i Think) from where they were produced. So the people selling Wexford Strawberries by the Road Outside of Wexford either have a licence or are breaking the law.

Yes you need to have a license from the local county council or town council for the place you are selling. There are very few that get away without having this license as it can be checked very regularly by the Guards.
