Need a bit of help

    Hey folks.

I have recently gone back running. Finding it a bit tough, but trying. I have a background history of compartment syndrome, and had surgery on both legs about 2 years ago. I have been running on paving/gravel track over the last few weeks, but I am getting very bad pains in my lower leg. It is not the same area that was affected by the compartment syndrome, but I am worried that it might be some way related.

The pain is happening around the Soleus region of the calf, and the leg just feels very tight and heavy but goes away fairly quickly after I stop running. I have a feeling that it is pressure in the Soleus or some Achilles problem that is causing it. I should mention that I have flat feet too, but have insoles for it.

Any help or advice that you could give would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    ODIN
