I was looking at a website that sells mower parts. the site advertised a part @ £169.15, but when i enquired about shipping it I was told that the prices were wrong and that i had to pay £290. where do I stand with this?
    thanks

That you will have to pay 290 GBP for it as you have not any form of contract with the seller (Invitation to treat).
