MW2, 360 or PS3 version?

Not looking to start a row but was wondering if anyone had come across any comparisons yet? Eurogamer won't have one til later in the week and a quick google gave no results.

I don't understand people who get caught up comparing games on the two consoles.

Aye the Eurogamer review said there'll be one later in the week, was hoping to get it sooner than that though. Will probably just go for the 360 version, be surprised if the PS3 version looked better.

Because I have both consoles and it's near enough a 50-50 as to which one to go for so it would be nice to have something to sway me.

Which platform do you play on the most?

If it's the PS3 then buy it for that and if it's the 360 and you have a gold account then buy it for that platform.


Picked it up for the PS3 myself as thats the platform I play the most now.

Much prefer the 360 controller, would have very slightly more people to play with on PS3. Like I said, near enough 50-50 which to go for. And short of calling around and surveying them on how much each will be playing online I can't get much more accurate as to which would have more mates online at any one time.

EDIT: Found a comparison there anyway, looks like I'll be goin for the 360 version.

Going by the last comparison and by how third party games turn out the 360 one will have the edge visually. However just like CoD4 it will be close so go for which ever console you have the most friend on.

i noticed when playing on the ps3 last year, people were flying around on cod4, i noticed on the 360, that nobody was flying around.

360 > ps3.

Even after looking at those comparison videos, there's never any real major difference between either version of any game.

It's not like years ago when you had Spectrum vs C64.

COD4 is the only game that I have on both consoles and only because it came with the Xbox. I wouldn't be sad enough to buy the game twice. But to the average Joe Soap (pardon the pun) sitting in front of the telly there is no noticable difference between them.

PS3 is the console I play more so I'll buy it on that.

It was happening online in both versions but an update stopped it.

My laptop struggles to run a browser and MSN messenger at the same time, somehow I doubt many games will run too well on it.

i dont remember seeing anyone on the 360 flying, and the ps3 one was ridiculous, was going on for a verrrrrrrrrry long time without infinity ward doing anything about it, that's what annoyed me the most tbh.

I'd go for 360 purely because the controller feels more comfortable to me for fps.

no other reason really...
