    Hi All,

Maybe it's a sign that I'm getting old, or a sign of the economic times, but I am looking for a good Shopping List App for the iPhone.

I have tried ShopShop, and it's really good, but a feature that it doesn't have that I would really like is the ability to record the price of items on the list, so when I make up a shopping list the next time I would be able to know about how much to expect the shopping to cost.

I know that ShopShop is free, but I don't mind paying for an app that would have this feature. I would prefer not to pay for one, find out it's not right and then have to buy another one. If you know what I mean.

    Thanks in advance for recommendations.
    F.

i use an app called "List Maker!", for keeping tabs on various things. It has the functionality you want, shopping list with ability to add pricing, and total it. Cost is €2.99 i think...

might be other free apps that do the same thing, not sure though??

I find Groceries pretty good. Has a comprehensive database of items in there already as well.

Zenbe Lists is cool as you set up lists on your PC and you can live sync with your iPhone .

Thanks all. I got a PM about an App called "My Shopping Lists" url=http://www.apptism.com/apps/my-shopping-lists]Link[/url

It's actually quite good, there's a lite version url=http://www.apptism.com/apps/my-shopping-lists-lite]Link[/url that limits you to 20 items on the list, but gives you a taste of what you can do.

The full version costs €1.59 and allows you to even create a layout for the different shops that you go to (which order are the aisles in and so on). Then you can apply this shop sort to the list and the list should show up the items on the list in the order you will encounter in the shop.

We'll see how well it does after I do my next 'big shop', but it looks really useful...

There's a small bit of setting up as you enter the prices you pay for items, but it looks like it will work out in the long run.

    Thanks again.
