Is there any way to stop the software opening when the computer starts up? Plus, is there a way to resize the window? I would prefer something between the small window on the nonporn version and the fullscreen.

    Good software apart from that.

    Go to
    Start-Run and type
    msconfig
Allow to open and go to startup tab. Scrool down and untick box for J@ck tv.
This is the way to stop most programs starting on start up.

A friend sent me a link to this page and I sent it on to two friends. All of us are now suffering. First we had problems with IE and changed over to Firefox. Now two of the computers won't boot up.

It may be a coincidence, but its a very big one.

Anyone else had this problem and have they been able to sort it out? Even when I insert the Vista disk again, it won't run.

The problem wasn't immediately apparent. I first downloaded it on 15 Nov. but my computer only stopped working altogether on Friday 27 Nov.

I use it a fair bit and have no problems with spyware etc.

I now use tvcatchup.com though most of the time. Has a great tv guide and all the UK freeview channels including skysports news.

You can only get it using a UK ip address, but theres ways around that:rolleyes:

I have my doubts that it is the fault of JackTV. There are many many many testimonials over on the myp2p forum praising the software.

I have no experienced any issues and I have been using it since version 1.
