Wharfedale DV832B acting odd since Sep 30

    Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone else is using a Wharfedale DV832B box for picking up Freeview from the UK / N.Ireland but since the channel re-arrangement which occurred on September 30, my box has been intermittently losing some channels (eg. BBC2, Five) after I disconnect it from the mains. They only come back in after I do a re-tune again.

I've even tried the first-time installation option to clear out its memory but it's still 'losing' channels if I turn off the box at the mains.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour with other Freeview boxes or the Wharfedale itself?

I think I've been able to find a 'solution' - it seems that the addition of the Irish DTT stations were too much for the box - when I deleted them from its memory (since I couldn't view the channels anyway), the disappearance of other channels ceased. I'm not sure if it's because the box can't store 7 muxes or if it can't store more than 100 channels (the addition of RTÉ's mux means there are 108 'services').

Just in case anyone else hits this...
