Anyone ever talk to ISS about the possibility of allowing it?
Or for one Ethernet port in an apartment or something?

I'm planning on going into them at some stage in the week, just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has already tried it.

Me thinks you need to focus more on your studies instead of wasting time on Xbox

No chance at all of it happening

Complete nonsense. Not that I ever use my Xbox, it's just a silly thing to say.

Nah, Halls is the biz. bythewoods' teas at 4 in the morning make it worthwhile.

But if you lived in halls you probably wouldn't get woken up the next morning by banging pots:pac:

I'm guessing that's exactly what they'll say to you.

    Although I hear in UCD there's a place where it's €1 for an hour's x-box (I'm assuming it's live) fun. So maybe.

Considering we can't even get wifi enabled mobiles approved by ISServices (are iPhones allowed?) The chances of gaming consoles being given access rights seem to be very slim indeed.

Just be glad that boards.ie isn't blocked whilst in Trinity ;)

unofficially its possible to register phones on your tcdwifi. Borrow a m8's laptop and set the mac address to the mac address of your phone (lots of guides online on how to change your mac address on all operating systems). Connect to first steps and register a new computer, scan it etc. Bam, your phones mac address is registered on the college network.
