    the irish pool classic will take place in silversprings in cork this weekend. Just wondering is anyone going down to it.Whats the competition like in this. What are the best tactics to use

    Hi Kevray,

    I was searching for Irish Pool related threads as I am entering into my first competition in Tullamore on the 24th Jan and I found yours from 2009. I was wondering how you found your first go at it? I would be a decent player in a pub on any given Saturday night, but I suspect the standard at the Open will be a bit beyond me. Have you played in many tournaments since '09?
