Sorry title should say series 2.

    Hi.
Would anyone mind summarizing the important bits of Series 2 for me. I watched it when it first came out on DVD but I can't remember much of it. Just the bits that are relevant to Series 3.

    Thanks!

Nathan was planning on exposing people with powers to the world at large and then he got shot.

That's literally the only part that's relevant to S3.

Other things that may pop up along the way are:

Elle. She exists. She was introduced in S2 and will be in S3.

    Claire's blood can heal people.

Sylar lost his powers to the Shanti Virus and eventually regained them when cured by Mohinder but the only powers he has left are Intuitive Aptitude (his original power) and Telekinesis. So he' back to square.... well, 2.

Mohinder met Maya who wants her power gone. Her power is being able to kill anyone within a certain radius of her. How big a radius, I'm not sure. Sylar killed her brother.

Maury Parkman, father of Matt, was introduced. He told Matt that "whatever the brain controls, you control". Matt's power is, therefore, a lot more than just being able to read minds.

Hiro travelled back through time to Feudal Japan and met Takezo Kensei who had the power of Regeneration. Kensei returned in the present with the new moniker of Adam Monroe as a villain who killed Hiro's father. Hiro then buried Kensei alive.

Niki Sanders, trying to save her neice-in-law, Monica Dawson, from a burning building, got caught inside and died in an explosion.

Peter went missing after exploding above New York. He suffered memory loss (thanks to The Haitian) but regained his memory (thanks to his Regeneration ability) and eventually made his way back to his path. He rejoined Nathan, who had suffered severe burns (and was healed of them by Adam Monroe's blood) and, along with Matt Parkman, was standing with Nathan at the press conference when Nathan was shot.

There ya go. That's all I can think of for now.

Season two featured volume two, Generations,[12] and began on September 24, 2007. Volume two begins four months after the events of Kirby Plaza. The main plot arc of Generations deals with the Company and its research on the Shanti virus. This research is explored through the Company's founders, whose identities are revealed, as well as through the effects of various strains of the virus. The "heroes" ultimately come together in an attempt to stop the release of a deadly strain of the virus and avert a global pandemic.

Peter has loads of powers but is retarded. He stops the super virus Adam trys to unleash.

Hiro goes back in time and becomes Kenzo. And finds his destiny.

Sylar losses his powers and then gets them back at end of chapter 2.

Nathan finds god and wants to be a senater.

matt finds his dad who is the boogy man molly is scared of.

Suresh and Bennet are conspiring to bring the Company down
