Cyst after wisdom tooth extraction

I had all four wisdom teeth removed 3 weeks and think I may have a cyst in one of the extraction sites. There is a bad taste, smell and white substance coming from the area. I'm going to ring the dental clinic tomorrow to see if I need to go back. Just wondering if it's a common problem and if anyone else has had it happen.

    Cheers, D.

it's always wise to go back to the dentist a couple weeks after having wisdom teeth out so the dentist can check to see if things are healing normally.
it isn't unusual to have the symptoms you are describing but the dentist needs to have a look.
