What do you mean by mini disks?

Just smaller 80mm 210mb CD's or actual MiniDisk casettes?

If it's a small CD you could try to rip the audio to MP3 format using WMP at a low-ish bitrate and then and use wat ever CD burning software you have to burn it all back to one 120mm (standard size) CD.

I take it it's the above minidiscs the OP is on about. This forum really isn't the place for this...

You needa Hi-MD disk and an appropriate drive.

MiniDVD is another story altogether. Any DVD drive would do it.

aye -not really the right forum for this discussion...

...but if it is the Sony MiniDisc format then you'll at least need a minidisc player, usb cable and the appropriate software to pull the audio off the discs... which may be hard to come by (although i have one burried somewhere at home so if you dont hanve one if you ask around it is the kind of thing one of your more tech savy friends might have held on to) or you could use the optical out or something on an older stereo with a MiniDisc player.

I know MiniDiscs are still used for this type of recording but once you've got the audio ripped (the quality of the rip will really depend) i'd encode the audio as mp3 (at whatever bitrate is appropriate) and whack it on a CD,DVD, Memory stick or share it online or whatever as it's a much more accessible format these days.
