I should work, but if comes with a UK phone plug, it would need an adapter.

I would be a bit hesitant about getting that phone as I have a funny feeling it is for PABX system as oppose to a analogue phone line that you would have in your house.

if you are looking for cheap and cheerful argos have a good selection
