    Don't get me wrong I think she's a very attractive woman but I was watching her on the Clinic tonight and she looked so old. The wrinkles on her neck looked really pronounced. With the way celebs are looking these days I figured she looks like someone in her fifties, a well preserved 50-something. So I was shocked to learn she was only 42. I wonder is it sun damage.

    What do people think? I am not trying to be bitchy or anything but is it just the way the world is now that people must look younger.
    Ps some people I know in their 40s don't look this wrinkled and some celebs who look good don't always get plastic surgery - although some do and it looks awful.
    I suppose in a way we should be applauding Alison Doody for not succumbing to plastic surgery

    I'd guess sun damage, plus the lifestyle she's had plus if she had admitted to cosmetic/plastic surgery etc I don't know it does more harm than good in the long run. I'd say it all adds up though. I can tell you one thing - if you have kids the lack of sleep can give you wrinkles faster than anything else. She turned down the role of Galadriel in Lord of the Rings because she was pregnant if my info is correct.

    IMO she looks nipped and tucked to within an inch of her life and wowser she looks hawt!

    There's no way in hell that Alison Doody is 42. I was 12 when A View To A Kill came out, she was in that and would make her 18 in it.

    She's an absolute natural beauty who totally destroyed her face and her career. She turned down Carlito's Way with Al Pacino because she wouldn't go topless in one brief scene. Each to their own but it's a trivial reason in terms of getting a good part. She looks horrendous now and it's all self inflicted. A textbook example of what not to do, on every level.
