Confused over new work mate

    Right just started a new job, 3 groups of 3 from other companies no amalgamated.


    Anyways theres 7 lads and 2 girls.


    One girl is out of bounds totally as she has a fella.


    This is where my problem arises and i'd like some advice..... the 2nd girl.......


    She is single and damn hot imo, she gets on great with everyone and currently lives with 2 other lads from her company. Anyway we were in a house for a few drinks one night and as sessions go with with new people it moved onto who we fancy and that in the job.

    After a little prying from another colleague we found out she didnt fancy anyone but if she had to choose it would be me, as I just seem to be the type she has a tendency to go for.

    We laughed it off etc. but the whole night she really only talked directly to me, and then when everyone was gone to bed she came back down with one of the lads to have a smoke but he left and she stayed with me on the couch.


    Conversation was light and jokey and there was occasional contact between the 2 of us but she seemed a little reserved. I was a little aprehensive to try anythign else and eventually just said i was bolloxed and needed to sleep so she went back up stairs.



    Did i blow my chances or was it nothing do you's think??


    We have texted a little since but really just a few messages on generic stuff.



    Do i wait till we are all out again to make a move or do I ask her out on my own?
