Skiing in Early December

Hi, I'm planning to go skiing in early december for 4 days from the 5th and wondering if anyone has any advice regarding the best places to go early in the season, given that choice may be limited depending on snow fall. I'm planning to fly into munich (as the timing of the flights in and out will maximise the time we have for skiing), and driving to austria as there are a few resorts within 3 hours drive. Obviously the biggest issue will be snow fall in the next month, and many resorts will probably not be open until later in december. There are some resorts already open, at higher altitudes like ischgl and Soeldan.

Has anyone been to any of these higher altitude resorts before? What are they like - skiing conditions, nightlife etc. Are they more likely to suffer lift closures due to bad weather?
Otherwise can anyone recommend other places to go early in the season?

    Thanks.

Hintertux is probably your best bet. It tends to have well over 80 k of piste open at that time of the year and the weather is quite reliable for a glacier.

Nightlife will be quite but you may get a chance to see some of the international teams training and allot of pro riders head out there for their early season training.
