A selection of competitions are coming up in Rathdrum.

This weekend (7th and 8th) we are holding the Leinster Indoor Open. There is a 3P match on Saturday starting at 11 (one detail only) and the prone match on Sunday starting at 10:00 (details every 90 minutes). Booking is open on www.rathdrumrpc.org

The following weekend we are hosting the NASRPC Benchrest pistol and Sporting rifle open on Saturday 14th and the NTSA National Standard Pistol Open on Sunday 15th. Both will kick off from 10am with the prone rifle first on Saturday and the Benchrest pistol from 1pm.

    Booking available on www.rathdrumrpc.org

It would be helpful if people booked in, it speeds up the process on the day by a huge amount.

Also remember that the new Clubs SI (308/2009) is now in force and attendance records must be kept of visitors. This includes your Name, Address, DOB and Certificate number.

Moving out to its own thread early as the shoot on the 14th is deferred.
    Results up at all?

Not yet, forgot to bring a memory stick with me so the results are down at the range still.

Ray Reilly won over Sean Baldwin and Sandy Wilson was third. It was Sean 588, Ray 586, Sandy 582, Conor 580, Mark K 579, Me 578 and Mike D 577 going into the final.

Richie had a 590 but couldn't stay for the final. No class D shooters and 15 of the 22 scored over 570.
3P wasn't held in the end, long story ;)

Conor and myself had a plague of 9.9's both of us getting 3 in a row

We also had crap finals :o

Good turnout and everyone was in good form.

Tough luck FLOYDSTER, two weeks time is the DURC indoor open and Wilkinstown want us to host one as well as soon as we can find a free slot in the calendar.

So there's plenty of opportunity. Your slot was filled, so it wasn't as though we missed you ;)

Well I'll hopefully get down for at least one of these!;), I'm looking forward to seeing how this Bleiker goes indoors!

With the unnecessary yet very exciting sudden death shoot off for it. First time I've ever seen, much less been in one. Lots of fun afterwards, not so much at the time :)

The shoot off was good to see alright. Nice to see competitions getting that tight. We're seeing the high scores moving up and up, to the point where it'll soon be 580+ to make a final, and hopefully that ceiling will keep getting driven upwards too. Would love to see the day it takes mid-590s to make an indoor final in this country.

If the two people who couldn't make the final had been there, the lowest score would have been 579. So we're there already.

The shoot off was unnecessary, the decimals hadn't been totaled so there was actually 1.6 between Mike and Mark.
