I am looking for a spare barrel for my Baikal mp-153. They are available in 3 lengths: 24", 26", and 28". I am finding it difficult to source one.

    Hi
I tried the net and you can get them in the USA under the Remington name. Remington sell a rebadged Baikal MP-153 as "Remington SPR-453". The problem is nobody will ship firearm barrels to Ireland.
The barrel I have is a 28" and its fine. I am looking for a 24" for shooting in wooded areas.
I would say that you couldnt blow a barrel on one of these guns. They might be a heavy gun but it has never jamed unlike some of the more expensive makes. I regularly shoot 31/2 (89mm) shells without and problems.
I tripped and lost my footing once and landed into a bog hole, gun and all, took it apart and got rid of most of the debris. It fired no problem straight away. Try that with a Benelli or Browning !
