Borderlands/ps3 update/accept agreement terms???

    Lads i would appreciate ur help with this.I am no techie and have absolutely no idea wat to do.

    PS3 is a yr old all other games are fine.PS3 not internet connected.

    Bought Borderlands today in xtravision.
    Loaded Game and was told needed to install update(version3.1) from disc to play.
    Clicked on "agree " to terms to proceed with update,and clicked start.
    Just keep getting knocked back to accept terms and each time its back at do not accept terms.

    So cannot proceed with game.....any ideas???

    Is it an internet play only game?,guy in xtravision said it was'nt.

    Thanks for any help u can give.

    PS:any other updates in past have loaded fine from disc's before play.

    go to game data on the xmb ad delete any borderlands data in there and try it again

    Its definitely not an internet only game, you could play it all offline. Can you not just say no to the update? That works with me for the games I'm not bothered to update.

    Yeah when it says update available and gives you the ok option on screen, hit circle.

    It should work.

    You could download v3.01 off the playstation site onto memory stick and update the ps3 so that it doesnt ask to update u know:)

    Don't think in applies because game never loaded onto ps3.Says unless i update game cannot be played/proceed.

    xmb = Xross Media Bar = PS3's Main Menu

    and I think the ad was just a typo of and ;).

    And yeah, if you dont mind playing offline, hitting circle will work when booting into game. Otherwise delete game data and manually install PS3 update either through Settings on PS3 or from online with a memory stick.

    Thanks for all the help lads.

    Don't know why,but it worked through settings,once i help the D pad down after accept.
