Question. Can you use the screen on a laptop as a monitor for another device?? I have a CCTV DVR that has a VGA out adapter and was wondering if I used a VGA cable to my laptop could I view the images being broadcast from the DVR??

Some expansion cards might let you do this. No laptop I know of is setup natively or has the prebuilt hardware to do this.
