In this age of degrees being a common as the Leaving Cert and the influx of highly qualified foreign nationals, who is the Most Over-qualified Person In Ireland?

Used to have a Business Studies teacher in secondary school and he had two lines of letters after his name... can't remember what they are right now... but anytime he sent a letter out to parents he would put all his degree's after his name...

(in England) a few years back got into a conversation with my bin man about his Phd.

the wife's cousin in Dublin has a Phd (archaeology) and works in the patient records dept of a hospital (having previously worked in the knickers and bra dept of Dunnes)

God, I can't believe that, I only use mine for something like court reports, I think its a tad pretentious to use in on everything you sign.

Come to think of it, if it takes two line its more than likely a long list of sh!tty courses that mean nothing.

I think its fair enough if you've done a phd and masters etc that you put it down when you sign. But only if its something small like M.D. etc, writing two lines of degrees etc just looks pretentious and snobby.
