Anyone know where I can get these? Can only seem to find hold ups or sheer stockings. I have to be awkward

I need to be able to buy them tomorrow so can't get them online!

    I'm in Dublin.

Try BT'S. Wolford do a great opaque pair but they are expensive. But worth it, there gorgeous.

I second that, I have a pair from Wolfords in BT's that are Opaque and fit like a dream, pricey but worth it as Rayne said.

Boyers in Dublin (generally a granny shop) used to have a fantastic collection of fancy tights and stockings, lots of brands like Pretty Polly. I'm not sure if they still do but have a quick look there first.
Debenhams should have cheaper ones than Woolford, M+S often have them too but it's easy to miss them because they tend to be packaged like opaque tights. Look carefully.

Both Penneys and Dunnes do them. I'd try Penneys first. I think the last ones I got were about €3 for two pairs and they lasted the whole night! ;)

    Thanks guys! (particularly showmered :pac:)

I was in M&S today, I looked at all their hold ups and couldn't find stockings :( Might try there again tomorrow. Also will try debenhams. Won't be near BT's but could try arnotts for the walford ones. I'm going to america on tuesday though and they were to bring with me so I'd probably be better off getting the walford ones there wouldn't I?

I've never seen them in Dunnes or Penneys, will give it a shot tomorrow!

Quite in agreement with xp90. Can't be of much help, but should online purchases be made:

    http://www.secretsinlace.com/
    http://www.stockingirl.com/
    http://branchesonline.org/

You should also be able to find them in any "Victoria's Secret" store in the States.

    Enjoy your trip.

Hi, I work exclusively with hosiery and have no problem attaching my garter to hold-ups. There's a gap in between the silicon strips that you can place it. I buy a size larger so as not to place too much stress on the nylon.

50 denier holdups are available in Wolford and Falke in Arnotts hosiery department on the ground floor.

They also stock mock-stockings in opaque in the Pretty Polly range.
