Hired car for driving test..

    I dont want to go that avenue,but will if have to.. driving instructor said it shouldnt be a problem, (had to take it at shortish notice and hes not 100% he can give it to me with other things he has planned etc) any other options out there which people have used...

    A good few driving schools in Dublin area offer hire of car for test plus 2 hour pretest before hand - not ideal but last recourse I guess.

    That seems a bit odd! Most instructors will give priority to a test and will reschedule booked lessons to accomodate this.

    Should have explained in 1st post, was supposed to use friends car but he had problems with it, you're right, it would be normally no problem, just the short notice..I have it sorted now though, cheers...
