ipod touch

hey i recently have upgraded to the 3.0 software and since then my ipod loses its charge every time i leave it for a few hours. i have tried restoring it but that didnt fix the problem and it wouldnt let me downgrade again to 2.2 or the other versions. anybody have any ideas to fix this?? thanks

i might try that thanks.i dont have any warrenty on my ipod because it has water damage (went through the washing machine) but miraculously it survived(till last week)
