Picking up the pill??

    me and my girlfriend need to pick up the pill, most likely be tomoro morning(monday).
    She's in work tho and im not so i was wondering if anyone knows if id be able to pick up a prescription for her.
    Its a college doctor ill be going to and i was wondering if anyone knows how they hand out the prescriptions or what the story is?

    do you mean the oral contraceptive pill, or the morning after pill ?


    Edit: and no in answer to your question no they won't give it to you. No doctor is going to prescribe a pill for a patient (your girlfirend) whom they havne't met

    ok the other issue here is - when did you guys have sex ? It has to be taken within 72 hours of the incident.

    The sooner the MAP is taken the more effective it is. My suggestion is that you go to your nearest pharmacy straight away and ask them which GP is on duty today, they will have a list. Call that GP, make an immediate appointment and deal with this now.

    If you're near the North, she can get it over the counter in a pharmacy.

    It can not be prescribed for anyone other then the person who has to take it due to the fact it is a very high dose of hormones and is not suited for every woman.

    +1 to what Iguana says. Get your girlfriend to a GP as soon as possible.
