Musicals in TCD

Just wondering does Trinity ever put on Musicals??I would love to be in one, but i have never heard of one being on except for in Halls. Also, do you have to be a member of Players to audition for their plays? Thanks!

The players hold the 24 hour musical next term.
Im fairly sure you dont have to be a member to audition.
Also, the freshers co-op is fairly musical, if youre eligble.

You should just drop into the players theatre front of house, theyre all really nice and approachable!:D

You'd be surprised the random stuff societies get up to as well. I was involved when Gamers put on a musical in 2007, and a bunch of people in the society did another at a national convention this year.

Keep an eye out - you might think only Players does stuff like that, but you'd be wrong.

Oh ok, yeah ill defo keep an eye out..But again do u have to be joined up to those societies to audition,ive been so lazy with societies this yr Ive heard of that 24 hour musical...sounds strange?!

Oh also, the VDP are doing a panto this christmas! Fairly sure its already been cast, but theyre probably looking for crew, you could help out and walk into the thing if they do it again next year!
