Help! Slightly too big evening gown

Hey, I have a bit of a dilemma. Got a lend of a dress for a college ball. Its strapless and an almost perfect fit. It looks something like this



The only thing is, its tending to slip down at the back and show the band of my strapless bra. Its pure silk so I cant alter it and let it back out (its not mine). Even any recommendations on superglue that wont leave marks on silk would be greatly appreciated at this stage.

Is there even shapewear thats like a leotard, and scoops down in the back or something?

Beautiful dress.
Maybe try a different (padded) strapless bra so it stays up better and use a safety pin to pin the dress to your bra at the back. Shapewear would probably just make it slip down more.

Yeah I tried padding it to the nines, and im already a DD, it made it tighter, but I think the dress is just cut a little lower at the back than the average bra line

Try tit tape.... You'll get it in most good lingerie shops. or La Senza or one of those places.

Just simple tape the back of the dress to the bra... Or experiment yourself with it.... Great stuff

any brand that is particularly good? will it leave a sticky residue on the dress?

Don't think there are particular different brands, they all do the same job. No wont leave any residue on the dress. However there are different strengths of stickyness.... Its basically just a double sided tape anyways.

Try it out before the actual event, just so you can figure out which way you are going to put it on...
