Contracts writing

I am looking to have some contracts, terms & conditions etc writing up,
I need them to look professional so I'm thinking about maybe farming it out to someone, has anyone dealt with someone that does this that they would suggest? I would be hoping I could to see examples first before handing over any cash.
Obviously as I'm in startup mode the price would also have to be a factor in this.
Can anyone let me know a rough price for this kind of work? what way is it priced?? By the hour, by the amount of words used etc

    Thanks

    Hi Tombull,
Being that you are a start-up business, I suggest that you that you have a look at some 'contract softwares' that are avilable online. You may need the autonomy to make changes as you evaluate projects. software would come with examples and step by step guides to both formulating and implementing contracts.

I went down that road at the start, not good they are too general. The best way for a contract is to use your terms and conditions as base and say so in the contract, then if there is anything different required e.g. different payment terms, then you simply add that into to your confirmation of order and thats that.
I do know of a legal exec who does that sort of work, she checked mine and they've held up in 2 cases.
Legal execs are not solicitors but they have legal training and are the ones who write up the contracts. PM me if you want the contact details

    Morning,
I've a few contracts that I use for rentals and services. They cover all the main points payments, client responsibilities, terminations etc etc.

If you'd like to take a look, PM me and I can send you copies FOC.

    Andy

I agree any I have found seem to be very simple, It has been suggested to me to copy T&C's from sites offering the same as I will be but basically thats Copy righted I'm sure so I don't want to get into that area.

I think I should be able to work out general T&C's for the Website but its the contracts I want to have bullet proof.
