Was just checking is the open day the 19th of nov? Does the IT usually hold good informative open days? What times do the open day start-end?

Yep pretty sure it's thursday the 19th. Well last year I got loads of information from the computing dept. They put a lot of effort in. I would say aim to be there in the morning as everything will start to wind down in the afternoon. The dept you are interested in could well be having talks during the day so if you are there from the beginning, you wont miss anything like that.

Remember to take a list of questions with you and give the lecturers a good interrogation. It'll help you make the right decision when you are comparing open days.
