hid bulbs for passat

    hey guys i am looking for hid type bulbs for my 02 passat i have the osram cool blue bulbs in the dim and head lights but there not that gud what other ones are gud ?

    if you havee projector headlights, then you should carry out Xenon conversion.
    kits are very very cheap on ebay or if you want to buy irish with a warranty www.hidirl.com

    I doubt the overpriced "Irish" ones are better than what ebay offers.

    I'd agree, the cheaper ones all look as though they come out of the same factory.

    I fitted a kit to my fater-in-law's 01 Passat and it works very well.

    If you have an 02, then you do have projector headlights.

    Try to get 4300k instead of 6000k.(k is the colour of the bulb).

    4300k is the factory HID on the Luxury Cars.

    6000k is what every tom dick and harry with an Ebay kit is using and the light is reduced.

    I've seen a few Passats of that era (non projectors) with HID kits installed and the end result is far from desireable.

    where is best to get kit ?
    how much will it cost ?
    are they easy fitted ?
