Amazon returns help

I ordered a DVD boxset from Amazon this week, I've since discovered that it does not include any of the extra features mentioned on the packaging. I'm getting a friend from the states to bring me a US copy of the DVD set as I know this does contain the special features etc.

I want to return the boxset to amazon, I know I should get the refund as it's within the whole 30 day cooling off period. Just wondering about postage etc. I used super saver delivery when I ordered so it was free. I was wondering if they can reimburse me for the delivery costs when I send it back or what. In one way the DVD's were not what I ordered but I know that this is more to do with the difference in the products sold here as opposed to the US, are they at fault or am I just out the money.

You pay for returns when you change your mind.

You can only return things to Amazon if the product is still sealed and all labels etc are still attached. This obviously does not apply if the product is faulty.

The studios release different verions of box sets for different regions, they add or remove extras between these regions.

You ordered an official region 2 boxset and that is what you got, the fact that it is not the same as the region 1 version is not a defect or fault.

Even if the product was still sealed etc, you would be liable for the return postage costs.
