Cost of ps3 up north?

Hi, my ps3 is broke (error 80010514) so im selling it and want to get another ps3 the slim one and was thinking it might be cheaper up the north

does anyone how much they are up there and is they any deale with extra games and stuff???

Dude i seriously reccomend you heading up north with say 300 pounds and having a look yourself. Trust me there shall be savings, for example i got a laptop for christmas payed 554 pounds for it and a bag and anti virus(one thats actually good ) and here the laptop cost 600 quid alone. Moral of the story no matter what your bound to save compared to here

Do yourself a favour and try to get a free or virtually free flight into Gatwick with Ryanair. They are doing the 250GB PS3 with Unchartered 2 and Fifa2010 for 246 sterling.

You got to also factor in what your time is worth. That is a lot of airport hassle, taxi fares, time etc.
Same with going to the north. Factor in petrol, time etc and you really should be doing more than just getting a PS3

And if there are any problems with the unit, how are you going to get it back to them? Very few people factor this in as "it will never happen to me". It can be a pain in the dogs having to get the PS3 back to the point of sale if it's hundreds of miles away.

Had this hassle a few months back with a 42 inch toshiba telly, that I bought in England.
Had to drive to Belfast to replace it. Now I got an upgrade and the original price was still worth it but yes, all this must be factored in to the "bargin" that you are getting.

That was an OK trip for me up the M1 but if you are say in Cork, that is a long journey

gonna trade mine in and get a new ps3 slim,

at the moment gamestop are offering 180 euro credit, and charging 299.99 for the slim, with MW2,

but i'm headin to newry saturday, so if the deal was worthwhile i could just hold out till then, i tried there website but they dont have trade information.

You might get more to sell the 60gig model, alone.
Try Adverts.ie as there are many people who want PS2 compatibility

dont sell it on adverts, in gamestop in the shopping center next to sainsuburys in antrim they will give you £145 as a trade in if you buy a new ps3
