all i know is that codemasters are doing it and its out january sometime

I'm pretty sure its not out till March (or is it May). Historically F1 games only come out during the season so that the car livery, drivers, tracks, etc are all modelled on the current championship.

F1 2009 is coming out this Friday (20th of November) but only for the Wii and the PSP.
