Haven't seen it, but I have heard Kermode's BBC review yesterday. I think I can wait till it come to TV.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I saw this the other day, and was not impressed at all to be honest. Was quite interested in it, but felt very let down. It really was not scary. It was trying so hard to build tension but I felt that the "real" footage let it all down, and left it feeling a bit disjointed... Will Patton was hilarious though, and by hilarious I mean terrible!

This seems to be shaping up to be a real dissapointment, I havne't heard anything good about it yet.

Apparently, the whole thing is only 'based on true events' and is not actually a documentary.

Haha yeah a real documentary depicting alien abductions, I think it may have had a higher profile up to release in those circumstances! :p

    It did.

That's what half of the flack is about.

    It's Blair Witch Mk.2

Yeah, to be honest my problem isn't docu-style footage like Blair Witch, but its the way they tried to mash the "real" footage with Mila and co filling in the blanks in this. It just didnt work... during some of the scenes you are just settling into the atmosphere and becoming immersed and suddenly its split screen time again. I didnt see what it contributed to the film.
