Drummer wanted for 'challenging' project

    Hi all,

I'm looking to start an instrumental band with a heavy focus on rhythm, the complex possibilities therein while also playing on listeners expectations rhythmically and dynamically.

In short, I want a drummer who is up for creating awesomely technical, progressive and quirky music. This project would make the right drummer very happy, I'm sick of seeing so many bands leave their drummer go to waste lol.

I'd like start out with myself (guitarist/keyboardist) and yourself, then add another member or two a few months later once we're tight and know what we're after.

I'm 23 living in Cork (but willing to move anywhere in Ireland) and I'm into bands such as Nik Bartsch's Ronin, The Bad Plus, Meshuggah, Battles, The Redneck Manifesto, Oceansize.

I also have an ad on here looking to join any existing bands, this ad is just spread the net a little wider. I'd like a band or drummer to contact me, I'm not intending to juggle two bands at the same time or anything.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Ross

I'm going to try to head up to Dublin within the next few weeks if anyone wants to meet up for a quick audition. I can travel to Cork, Limerick or Galway also (and possibly elsewhere depending on on how well suited you seem).

    sigh.. back looking again.

Just to add to the ad above, I'd be looking to practice (on average) twice a week.
