when will price of iphone drop??

    I want to buy the iphone for my brother for christmas. I rang up 02 and they said prices start at €420 and go up to €619.
    I know Vodafone will be bring out the iphone but i wanted to have it for him in time for Christmas.
    I want to buy it on prepay. does anybody know if prices will be dropping in 02 any time soon?
    Also, have any boardsies seen any deals on iphones in o2? like if you buy an iphone can you get free credit with it??
    Do you reckon the prices will drop coming up to christmas?

    Doubtful, the earliest we MIGHT see a price drop is when Vodafone launch next year!

    And if there is a drop, how much would you reckon would be taken off the price?
    Like would it be worth waiting till after xmas?
    Reckon I shud buy him the iphone or an 02 gift card?

    To be honest, I can't see the iPhone handset price drop, I believe Vodafone will be competitive on the monthly package.

    So personally, I wouldn't hold my hopes up.

    Just seen a 02 poster saying "3gs now Free" that is with a hefty price plan . Is this an option for your brother as a gift !

    Can't see a pre pay 3Gs coming down in price anytime soon .
