Following on from our DEAF show with Grovskopa, Delay brings you another Irish debut with the mighty EXIUM (live). This show was scheduled to happen in September but due to the demise of the Radiocity venue couldn't go ahead but we finally nailed them down. This certainly is unmissable for any fan of real techno. Get ready for a full on assault on your eardrums!

Exium, the dynamic duo of producers and DJs, consists of Valentín Corujo and Hector Diaz Sandoval. They have been working together since 1992 and have produced more than 40 albums. Their live performances ooze class and precision with just the right dosage of industrial techno.

As Exium they have recorded for the following music labels: Planet Rhythm, Equator, Code, Zet Records, Tsunami, Warm Up, Main Out, Rxxistance, Recycled Sound, etc…. The quality of Exium´s productions have led to their collaborations with first-class artists like Olga&Josef, Oscar Mulero and Christian Wünsch. All of their work can be heard frequently during the sets of today´s most popular DJs, and their tracks have appeared on the charts of artists like Surgeon, Christian Wünsch, Oscar Mulero, Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, Gayle San, Angel Molina, Takaaki Itoh, Damon Wild, Inigo Kennedy, Pacou…

I wouldn't have thought there was more than 100 there by the end of the night, but a great set and atmosphere. Was talking to one of the guys doing visuals as I thought they weren't half bad - turns out he does one half of the (every second) Thursday nights up in Thomas House, near where McGruders used to be.
