    Hello,

I intend on handing out my C.V, along with a cover letter, to various retail outlets around my city. However, I am not sure if I should simply hand the two pages in seperatley, staple them together, put them in a poly pocket, or plastic folder. Can anybody clear this matter up for me?
    Kind regards,

    Rebecca

I would keep them as seperate documents, stapled together.

Thank you. Is it acceptable to hand them in without placing them in some sort of plastic sleeve?

Fold them neatly and put them in an envelope. Its much more professional looking. Plastic sleeves look a bit tatty. The employer will most likely be dropping it into a suspension file in his cabinet if he/she has not got work at the moment.

+1 Definitely use an envelope, addressed to the attention of the manager.
