S-MAX 2007/2008 pricing?

Would prefer a Zetec or Titanium spec but best price quoted is over €18k plus the Mondeo which seems a lot to move into a 3 year old motor
Buyer is v happy with prospect of S-Max and not really hot on any other cars0

Nothing wrong with an S-Max except.........the price. It's overpriced, or was, in 07.
We were looking at new cars in 07, and originally aimed for an S-Max, but got a new Galaxy for the same money, so maybe if you cast your net a bit wider you'd get a Galaxy for similar cost-to-change now, too. More useful, imho.
