hi would anyone be able to tell me what mix do i need to use for internal/external rendering ie sand/cement do i need to use an admixture to it any help would be great thanks

Blockwork should be first scudded with a mix of 1:1 1/2 to 2 cement: sharp sand, and finished with two coats of render mixed as 1 cement: 1/2 lime: 4 to 4 1/2 sand.
Plasticisers may be used may be used according to manufacturers instructions
