Interviews and Suits

    Hi,

I'm applying for a new position in the company I work for and there is likely to be 2 or 3 interviews.

I'm wondering if there were 3 interviews, (if I even get that far... fingers crossed!! :D), would I have to wear 3 different suits, or would I get away with repeating one of them?

It's business casual where I work so I only have one decent interview type suit.

Going to buy another this weekend, a really good, nice one that might see me through a couple of years, and hopefully give me an edge on the other applicants :P.

So, suggestions for where I might get this would be welcome also... I'm thinking Next or Top Shop, but maybe there are other places where I could get a really smart, classic and professional one.

    Female btw...

    Thanks for any replies!

Maybe I'd be better of posting this in Work and Jobs...

Suppose it depends on the type of business but maybe the same suit with a different shirt\blouse??

It's a multinational insurance company, so there's lots of different departments. I'm currently in one of their data entry teams, but just finished doing a 2 year course in college which has qualified me to get into the Software side of the business, which is mostly male dominated.

I really want the job, so want to make a good impression.

Great idea about the different shirts... Might help me get away with it if there are 3 interviews... Thanks! ;)

You don't have to wear a full suit to all interviews. As long as you have smart separates, you can combine them. But all the individual parts have to be good - smart shirts/tops are essential - as is the jacket.

Two suits and a variety of tops/jewellery/belts/bags/shoes will give you plenty of scope to create different looks.

Where did you find a good suit? I found Next suits very poorly cut. I think different shirts and different hair if possible would do the job.
