    This comes up from time to time, the thing to remember is that these cars are aimed largely at the domestic market, standards of living and life expectancy are lower than they are in the West. If you NCAP'd the cars most of us were driving 15 years ago you'd see similar result. These new cars are alternatives to rehashed MK1 SEAT Toledos or 80's Passats.
    Sure we can be aghatst at results like this, but it's not too diferent from doing European hyigene inspections rural India.
    At least they're taking steps in the right direction and buying Volvo and Rover.
