U2 Vinyl Mega Rare

I have Number 621 of 1000 of the first single U2 realeased (hand numbered) (in storage)

Where should i get something like this insured as it's Not covered under contents... and is there a special type of insurance for colectible/antique insurance ......??

Whats its worth? I think you could probably get it covered under contents as a seperate listed item.

I have been offered €2500 in the past , i'll never sell it as bit of a u2 fanatic, ....lol.

Would I need to get a seal of authentication or something ??
As there are hundreds of un-numbered versions and fakes out there ..

kmick is right, you just have to tell the insurance company that you want to cover it and that it's worth whatever you think it's worth. You'll pay extra on the premium according to the value you put on it.

woo.... seeing as there is only 26 of them accounted for (posted on that link) you might get more.
remember insurance cost is the cost to replace the item...so add on a bit.

U2thepale, where do you normally buy your U2 related things? I have a few things I want to get rid of, do you just use ebay or is there somewhere in Ireland, such as speciality shops I can sell the items to, (nothing too rare, just some cd's)?

Guinessdrinker, I used to buy just vinyl off ebay and also from a u2 group on yahoo and concentrated on the Top 50 collectible u2 vinyl but believe me was an exspensive habit and since then have had to part with a few once I bought the house..needs must and all.

I've knocked it on the head now but the u2 group on yahoo is a good place to get prices etc as ebay can be a mixed bag and personally I wouldn't go there again.

Yep will follow everyones advice and get it insured seperately..

Hey U2the pale.

Im so so jealous that you have a U23. I got the second pressing with the spelling mistake so that will have to do me for the time being.

What all stuff have you got? Im a bit of a U2 collector myself and would love to get some more U2 things like picture discs etc.

Would love to hear what yourself or any other boards members have.

Angel Of Harlem 12" Red

I have a few others but not as rare, some of the covers are cool so
have them hanging on the wall with perspex album holders
