Does anyone remember a show that used to be on the Den either called or main character called Josie Smith? I believe that she was Welsh or Liverpudlian or something. The gods of IMDB are showing nothing. It's driving me barmy

I do, it had a voiceover person as well. I remember another childs name was Rawley Baxter. I think they had an number of different titles like Josie Smith and the teaparty (or something similar perhaps).

I'm just glad somebody remembered it. Nobody I speak to ever remembers it. I thought I made it up in my head for a while.

Is this the one where she (Josie) was sitting outside her house on a step or something at the start?

I found this comment on Facebook ..
"Josie Smith and friends was flimed in Crawshawbooth in 1990 and again 1992 it was flimed mostly on Major St. The second series was flimed in part at Crawshawbooth County Primary. I was in both series as an extra Vicky Graham (now Binns) was lead role as Josie smith and now plays Molly in Corrie".

She had a best friend called Eileen, who was blonde, and she always said things like "you can't be a bridesmaid, Josie Smith, cos you 'aven't got cuhly 'air". Then the voiceover man would say "Sometimes Josie Smith doesn't like Eileen very much".
