Getting online-bought glasses adjusted

Just got my Oakley prescription glasses yesterday in the post. Happy with them but I think the nose pads need adjusting (I have a wonky nose among my many afflictions). Can I just walk into an optician and ask to have this done? They might consider it cheeky if I didn't buy the frame with them - I'd be willing to pay a little of course. Anyone done something similar?

    P.

You can get it done anywhere, i've done it loads of times.
I think they usually charge around 20 euro.

Actually, I just got it done in an optician on Batchelor's Walk - Urban Eye Wear? Even added larger nose pads for me and adjusted it to fit. Very nice guy, refused to take my money!
