I got an acer aspire 5715z laptop about a year ago, its grand(Vista HP, 2gb ram, Pentium DC etc...) but i find it too awkward for college so i was thinking of selling it and going for a netbook.

Now the thing is that i can get windows 7 HP for 30£ because of that student offer thing. So my question is would i better off selling it with windows 7 rather than vista HP. Not too sure what its worth, 250€ or whatever but would it be worth over 40€ more with windows 7 installed?

    Thanks for the opinions:)

Having briefly used both Vista and Win7, my recommendation would be to definatly upgrade that to windows 7 before selling. I have been told that Vista can be hard on laptops from a battery life and over heating point of view so to give yourself the best chance of making a sale, my advice would be to deffo upgrade that to windows 7.

    Hope that helps!
